At Giardino La Nunziatina in Pisa, Dome la Muerte and Marina Mulopulos launch Sopra la luna, the debut album of their new artistic project EMIS

An unmissable live show opens the 2023 season of the Giardino La Nunziatina in Pisa. Scheduled for Thursday 4 May, at 7.30 p.m., is the presentation of Sopra la luna, the debut album by EMIS, the new band of Dome la Muerte and Marina Mulopulos.
The band takes shape in the artistic encounter between two of the most representative figures of the Italian underground: Domenico Petrosino, aka Dome la Muerte, former backbone of CCM and NOT MOVING, who boasts a long career studded with prestigious collaborations summed up in the biography Dalla parte del torto (On the Wrong Side), and Marina Mulopulos, an artist who grew exponentially from her beginnings with Tilak, continuing as the singer of Almamegretta for three years and later sharing the stage and musicians with Peppe Barra.
The meeting of these two artists is realised in a cascade of sound that manages to combine Dome's wild guitar with Marina's great vocal intensity. The disc is a synthesis of the common vocation of the two artists, who are the protagonists of the compositions of all the tracks on the disc, excluding The Cure's Lullaby. Paolo Del Vecchio, Serena Altavilla, Frida Bollani Magoni as well as other important musicians from the underground scene collaborated on the production. The songs on the disc have the shape and flow of the great rock classics, managing to recreate the atmosphere of many evenings played in homage to great artists of common reference.
During the evening, Prof. Stavros Katsanevas, an internationally renowned scientist who passed away recently, will be remembered. He was at the helm of the European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) in Cascina from 2018 to 2022 and has crossed paths with the Nunziatina's cultural and musical proposals on more than one occasion in the past.
