It will be a weekend full of events dedicated to knowledge and saving the environment that awaits Pisa from Friday 30 September to Sunday 2 October. The Municipality of Pisa is sponsoring and taking an active part in the organisation of three events open to citizenship. It starts on Friday 30 September, at 5.30 p.m. in the atrium of the City Hall, with the presentation of the first data from the researchers of the Natural History Museum of Calci on the monitoring of the Newt population recently discovered in the ravines of the Scotto Garden. This popular event is free and open to all.

Sunday 2 October will instead be dedicated to extraordinary clean-ups both at San Rossore and in the city, with two separate events sponsored by the Municipality of Pisa. The Plastic Free Onlus Association is organising a clean-up on the beach of Gombo di San Rossore. Appointment at 8.30 a.m. at Cascine Vecchie, entrance to San Rossore, Migliarino, Massaciuccoli Park. Instead, for the national "Let's clean up the world" day organised by Legambiente, volunteers will meet in the afternoon, at 4.00 p.m., to clean the Lungarno Guadalongo.
