Pisa is preparing for a magical and evocative evening: on Friday 31 October 2025, from 5 p.m., the city will host the first edition of “Stregami PISA”, an event dedicated to Halloween that will transform the historic centre into a veritable Village of Fear. The heart of the event will be the Logge di Banchi, decorated with themed decorations and scenery where young people and families can take Halloween-style photos.
The program.
From 5pm to 8pm, children can take part in an interactive trail featuring games, scary face painting, thrilling fishing, candyfloss and popcorn, led by entertainers and accompanied by the Trick or Treat Fairy, who will guide them through the shops in the city centre, between Corso Italia and Borgo Stretto.
Along the way, four stations with street performers will tell short stories about the ghosts and famous figures of the city, from Conte Ugolino to Kinzica, and will also point the way to Piazza dei Cavalieri and the Torre del Conte Ugolino. Children can collect stamps on a card: those who listen to all four stories will receive a small prize, such as popcorn or candyfloss.
In addition to the Logge di Banchi, other activities will enliven the entire historic centre: dance and skating associations and schools will offer themed shows in Largo Ciro Menotti and Logge di Banchi, while travelling monsters and masks will parade through the streets of the city.
The evening will continue with a fire show in Piazza XX Settembre and will end with music and a DJ set in Piazza Garibaldi. There will also be prizes for the scariest shop window and the best mask, for both adults and children.
The actors will be strategically positioned at symbolic points in the city centre: Largo Ciro Menotti, Borgo Stretto, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza XX Settembre and Corso Italia up to Piazza Gambacorti, creating an engaging route that crosses the entire city and highlights Pisa's historical and cultural heritage.
