An exceptional opportunity to discover one of the oldest Pisan monuments: on Sunday 21 September 2025 the IL Mosaico Cultural Association, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, organized an extraordinary opening of the Etruscan Tumulus.
The programme includes two guided tours (at 11:00 and 15:30) and at 18:00 the open-air concert of the Conservatory String Orchestra “Pietro Mascagni” in Pisa.
It's called "Tutti dal Principe domenica sera!" (EVERYONE TO THE PRINCE ON SUNDAY EVENING!) the event that the organizers have been giving for some years now to all those who intend to discover one of the most fascinating (and little-known) scenarios in the city, listening to music performed by one of the longest-running musical realities in our territory. No stage, no structure, but only the vast lawn in front of the monument ready to welcome the musicians and the public, all together on the esplanade in an unusual conference.
We recommend bringing picnic chairs and armchairs, throws and cushions from home to sit freely (no seats assigned for the public!).
As usual in the initiatives of the Il Mosaico Association, entry is free but on this occasion funds will be raised to be allocated to the Diocesan Caritas and the Pisa Life Help Center for the construction of the thermal cradle.
The initiative, which takes place in collaboration with the Pisa Section of the Archeo Club of Italy and the Italian Red Cross, is combined with the celebration of the European Heritage Days for the year 2025 and takes place under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, owner of the archaeological site.
Opening Hours:
Open from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm
