On the afternoon of Thursday, June 4, 2026, the Municipality of Pisa today inaugurated the restoration of the former church of Sant'Antonio in Qualquonia, carried out with PNRR funds.
The newly restored space will be a place dedicated to conferences, book presentations, small meetings and, more generally, to cultural activities serving the neighborhood and the entire city.
The reopening of the restored former church was accompanied by a musical interlude performed by the Clarinet Ensemble of the G. Toniolo Comprehensive Institute.
Following this, the exhibition space was inaugurated with the photographic exhibition “Traces of Light” by Natale Gucci, created in collaboration with Rotary Club Pisa.
The exhibition, with free admission, will be open until June 21, 2026:
- Wednesday to Friday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm;
- Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm;
The initiative is organized in collaboration withAmici dei Musei e Monumenti Pisani and the Versilia Photography Group, with FIAF – Italian Federation of Photographic Associations recognition.
