100 Opportunities for the "Pisans" to get to know the city

The project, wanted by the Department of Tourism of the Municipality of Pisa with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the city tourist guides associated with AGT Pisa, ConfGuide Confcommercio Provincia di Pisa and Federagit Confesercenti Pisa.
The walks, lasting approximately two hours, will take place every Saturday and Sunday (and during the main holidays) for approximately one year, offering 100 events in total. Each visit will be able to accommodate 30 participants, resident in the Municipality or, in the case of free places, in the Municipalities forming part of the Terre di Pisa area.

The first appointments. Scheduled for Saturday 27 September at 11am “A square... two styles”, a walk through the masterpieces of the Piazza del Duomo to discover how Romanesque and Gothic intertwine and alternate. This is followed on Sunday, September 28 at 4.15 pm “The square and its secret numbers”, a journey through the canons of ancient sacred geometry that regulates the proportions of the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Tower, revealing the “hidden numbers” and the harmony of divine proportion.

The initiative, which in the previous edition was sold out for each visit, aims to enhance the historical and cultural identity of Pisa and to spread knowledge of its main monuments to the community, with particular attention to lesser-known places and stories of the characters who animated them. “RediscoverAmo Pisa” aims to strengthen the bond between citizens and cities, increasing the community's sense of belonging and promoting shared responsibility towards the historical, artistic and landscape heritage.

Terms and conditions:

Each walk is reserved for a maximum of 30 participants.

Registrations end two days before the event at 12:00 am .

After completing your registration, you will see a confirmation message that you have taken charge, which does not guarantee participation in the tour. Participation will only be confirmed via the email that will be sent the day before the chosen visit. Without confirmation email, it will not be possible to participate in the tour.

In case of cancellation, it is mandatory to cancel the event only by sending an email to riscopriamopisa@gmail.com no later than 3:00 pm on the day before the visit, indicating the name, name of the tour and date booked.
Failure to cancel/attend (repeated 2 times) will result in the cancellation of the Guest from future events.

Once the available places have been completed, it is no longer possible to book via the platform but it will be possible to send an email to the Tourist Information and Reception Office of the Municipality of Pisa (riscopriamopisa@gmail.com) to be included in the waiting list and to be contacted in case of cancellations.
