The Voices of Heaven Gospel Choir, a Social Promotion Association (APS) and gospel choir of the city of Pisa recently awarded Best European Gospel Choir 2024, announces the 13th edition of the Pisa Gospel Festival, for the first time on the prestigious stage of the Teatro Verdi for two evenings – on December 16 and 18, 2025.
Founded in 2007, the choir has approximately 25 members from all over Italy and has always combined musical activity with an intense commitment to social work. Thanks to its charitable events, the choir has already allocated over €100,000 to projects dedicated to research, minors, social policies, and the protection of women and vulnerable groups.
The festival takes place under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, the University of Pisa, and the Tuscan Volunteer Services Center (Cesvot), in collaboration with the Pisa Theater Foundation.
For the first year, it also benefits from the organizational collaboration of the Rotary Club Pisa, the exclusive partner of the second evening, joined for the first evening by other Rotary Clubs in the area – Rotary Club Pisa Galilei, Rotary Club Pontedera, Rotary Club San Giuliano Terme e Fibonacci, and Rotary Club Cascina Monte Pisano, which with these two evenings strengthen their independent support for the two projects benefited by the Festival.

Trini Lopez Massie, an internationally renowned American artist and “National Minister of Music” for the Adult Contemporary Department of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, will be the main guest at an event whose proceeds will be donated to the Gioia di Vivere dei Bambini in Ecuador Onlus association, winner of the annual call for Voices of Heaven Gospel Choir.

Special Guest: Eric B. Turner (Cleveland/New York, USA)
The celebrated American artist, an icon of international gospel and soul and a star on Broadway stages, returns to Pisa for a concert full of energy and spirituality. The proceeds will be donated to Caritas Pisa to support the new canteen project, identified by the Rotary Club Pisa in partnership with the Municipality of Pisa as an essential service for the daily support of the most vulnerable people in the area.
