For the third consecutive year, the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Chapter of the Cathedral, is organising organ vespers in the Cathedral.
Five of the most renowned organists on the Italian and international scene will take turns at the console of the Mascioni opus 1039 pipe organ, built between 1977 and 1980, offering the public a series of events of high musical calibre and great spiritual intensity. Their performances will accompany and amplify the reflective and meditative space proposed by Father Ottavio De Bertolis, creating a profound dialogue between music, silence and words.
The alternation of performers will allow for the exploration of different styles, schools and languages, transforming each concert into a unique musical experience with a programme that highlights interpretative excellence and the quality of an instrument capable of filling the space with majestic and evocative sounds.
