The ceremonies on the occasion of “National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day” promoted by the Municipality of Pisa, the Province of Pisa, the Prefecture of Pisa and the military garrison are scheduled for Tuesday 4 November 2025. To allow the scheduled celebrations to take place, vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Ponte di Mezzo will be interrupted from 09.15 for the time strictly necessary for the ceremony.

The program of the day.

9.30 am Ponte di Mezzo, flag-raising ceremony and national anthem.

10.30 am Chapel for the Fallen (church of Santa Caterina) in Piazza Santa Caterina, laying of the laurel wreath.

11.00 am garden Caduti di Laconi G 222 Lupo 92 in via Carlo Del Prete, laying of the laurel wreath.

11.40 am war memorial G 222 Lyra 34 in Largo Betti (Marina di Pisa), laurel wreath deposition.

12.10 pm monument to the Fallen of Nassirya in via dei Fiori (Tirrenia), laurel wreath deposition. 12.30 pm monument to the fallen of the Great War in via Livornese (San Piero a Grado), laurel wreath deposition. 3.30 pm Ponte di Mezzo, flag lowering ceremony.

The concert of the Pisan Philharmonic Society is scheduled for 6.30 pm in Logge di Banchi.
