La Torre becomes for the first time a one-act opera, entirely produced by the Teatro Verdi thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Pisa, the Teatro di Pisa Foundation, the Opera della Primaziale, and the Pisa Foundation.
It will have its world premiere on November 28th and 30th, directed by Stefania Panighini and conducted by Carlo Boccadoro.

Based on a story by Marco Malvaldi, libretto by Vincenzo De Vivo, music by Marco Bargagna, La Torre is the second title of Verdi's operatic season and will be staged in a chamber diptych of absolute originality, together with the Bal Masqué, by Francis Poulenc (1899-1963), which on this occasion will be performed for the first time in scenic form
