On Sunday, 28 September, at 7:00 p.m., at the Bastione del Parlascio, the dance performance ‘Elogio agli Uccelli’ (In Praise of Birds) will be held.
The performance is inspired by Giacomo Leopardi's moral operetta, filled with joy, lightness, and carefreeness.
The qualities of birds seem to be identified with cheerfulness, lightness and levity. A childlike and carefree state, not without contradictions. Leopardi finds many similarities between humans and birds.
Music and dance composition by Con.Cor.da/MovimentoinActor for the Mutuale Feelings 2025 project of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice. Choreography by Flavia Bucciero and music by Riccardo Vaglini and Renato Miani.
Visit to the Walls of Pisa from 5 pm included in the ticket price.
