The exhibition of botanical art "Harvest and stories" is part of the international project Botanical Art Worldwide 2025, dedicated to the celebration of biodiversity in plant crops closely associated with the human species, and dialogues with the reviews, organized simultaneously, from more than 30 countries around the world.
The exhibition, curated by CABI (Comitato per l'Arte Botanica Italiana) and MUSE (Museo delle Scienze di Trento), opens on 16 July at 11:00 am at the Museo della Grafica (Comune di Pisa, University of Pisa) and presents 73 paintings from all over Italy, to reflect on the great variety of food and medicinal, textile and perfume plants in contrast to the few varieties currently used for cultivation worldwide. The exhibition will run until 7 September.
