The Graphics Museum is pleased to host the winning works of the six editions of the Communication and Creativity Competition on Climate Change organized by the Interdepartmental Center for the Study of the Effects of Climate Change (CIRSEC) of the University of Pisa, which promotes research, advanced training, and scientific dissemination on climate change, sustainability, and the resilience of natural and anthropogenic systems. 

Thanks to an interdisciplinary approach involving researchers from numerous departments of the University, the Center develops studies and projects dedicated to the impacts of climate on ecosystems, cities, agriculture, health, and land, fostering dialogue between science, institutions, schools, and civil society. 

In this context, the Communication and Creativity Competition on the topic of climate change was born, aimed at female and final-year secondary school students. Now in its sixth edition in 2026, the competition aims to promote reflection on climate change through the languages of narrative and illustration, enhancing the sensitivity, creativity, and expressive capacity of new generations. 

The works presented address the topic of climate change from different perspectives, transforming scientific knowledge, personal experiences, and visions of the future into stories and images capable of engaging and moving. Each edition rewards the best papers with exemption from the University of Pisa's matriculation grant, as a recognition of merit and an incentive to continue their studies.

The exhibition brings together, for the first time, the winning works of the six editions of the competition, offering a testimony to the dialogue between science and creativity. With this initiative, CIRSEC confirms its commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness, recognizing the fundamental role of younger generations in addressing climate challenges.

The exhibition will open on Monday, July 27th at 5:30 pm and can be visited, according to the museum's opening hours, until Sunday, August 2nd.
