After the years marked by the pandemic, Pisa will once again celebrate New Year's Eve in the square, welcoming 2023 with a show in the beautiful Piazza dei Cavalieri. It last happened in 2019 with Dario Ballantini's show. Then, at the stroke of Midnight, the traditional fireworks from the Ponte di Mezzo, visible from the Lungarni, also return.

The "Pisa Is Christmas" program is thus enriched with a new event that will attract many young people to the city. An event in music entitled "New Year 2023 Celebration" that will be held in Piazza dei Cavalieri starting at 10 p.m., with an all-dancing music proposal with some of the most beloved DJs and the traditional Midnight countdown. On stage at the "New Year 2023 Celebration' will be the Back to Back party of DJ Aladin and Shorty from Radio Deejay and M2O, the show case of Dargen D'Amico as well as Biondo.

The event, desired by the Municipality of Pisa, Department of Tourism, will be free of charge and will accompany the public throughout the night. It is organized by LEG (Live Emotion Group), in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Verdi of Pisa.
