Via delle Sette Volte

So called because of the large number of times (originally seven but today there are six), Via delle Sette Volte is a picturesque alley about 300 metres long, entirely “covered”: it runs parallel to Via Oberdan and connects Via Ulisse Dini and Via San Lorenzo.

The romantic and evocative atmosphere of the street was created by the original play of light between the arches of the vaults and the street. The soft yellow light, generated by the streetlights, created truly evocative shades of shadow.
