Two days in Pisa on 4th and 5th June dedicated to Pizza: this is the first edition of the Pizza Pisa Festival organized by CNA and ConfcommercioPisa.
Pizza Maniacs. But also pizzofili. Pizza lovers. Pizzadipendenti. Or more simply greedy for pizza. The passion for pizza unites different generations and distant latitudes. In Pisa, the next 4th and 5th June, at the Stazione Leopolda, the first edition entirely dedicated to pizza, the Pizza Pisa Festival, is staged.
The event, organized by CNA and ConfcommercioPisa, will be the ideal opportunity not only to taste fragrant and original pizzas, but also to experience many moments of in-depth study, entertainment, fun and challenge. It will be possible to learn more, learn its secrets, learn about techniques and devices thanks to the skill of master pizza makers, famous gourmets, experts and journalists in the sector.
Admission is free and there is the possibility of tastings. The Pizza Pisa Festival will open with the Trofeo San Ranieri contest, a real competition to elect the most talented pizza maker, at the discretion of a quality technical Jury, made up of chefs, journalists, pizza makers and producers.
Many scheduled appointments: from children's workshops, to show-cooking, from Master Classes to in-depth studies such as the conference aimed at deepening the knowledge of flour. Show-cooking on "Cecina and Pizza Pisana". four-handed show cooking, Master Class "A lesson in Pizza", "Pizza at home", "A lesson of mother yeast", in-depth information on "Pizza al tegamino" and "Pizza Napoletana e fritta". The Pizza Pisa Festival is organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, the partnership of the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa / Terre di Pisa, the Banca di Pisa and Fornacette partners, Cheeses of the Busti Family, Unipol Sai Assicurazioni Agency, Grandi Molini Italiani.
