Sunday morning cultural activities in the Auditorium resume at Palazzo Blu.
5, 12 and 19 December: concert lessons on Jazz, led by Francesco Martinelli and organised in collaboration with Pisa Jazz.
After the break for the Christmas holidays, we will resume on 16 January 2022 with the chamber music concerts organised together with the Fondazione Area, which will explore the theme of evocative music, which tells a story, as also happens in the great symphonic poems. The concerts, organised by Maestro Maxìa, will take place on alternate Sundays (16 and 30 January; 13 and 27 February; 13 and 27 March) until the end of March, and will range from Baroque to contemporary music, through singing, solo piano and violin, with exceptional artists.
On Sundays in February and March, the great contemporary Italian literature will alternate with music, with a cycle entitled "Narrativa italiana" organised by Maria Cristina Cabani and Alberto Casadei and dedicated to the memory of Marco Santagata.
The long season of Sunday encounters will be closed by three appointments dedicated to the discovery and enhancement of young musical talents trained in the Masterclasses of the Accademia di Musica Stefano Strata. The three double concerts, which will be introduced by musicologist Milli Russo, will be held on Sundays 10 and 24 April and 8 May.
All the concerts, as well as the appointments with literature, are introduced by a short presentation by expert musicologists and scholars from our university and are held from 11 a.m. in the auditorium of Palazzo Blu, also streamed on Palazzo Blu's web and social channels.
To participate, you must have a green pass and wear a mask.
Required bookings can be made via https://www.eventbrite.it/
The Sunday in Music events are organised thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Pisa.
