On Saturday, July 11, the Walls of Pisa will participate in the historical reenactment initiative ‘The Siege of 1500’, which commemorates the Florentine and French siege of the city, which had regained independence in 1494.
The high-altitude section of the walkway where you can still see the two breaches that the besiegers managed to open above, the one above the Concette Park, from the Torre di Legno entrance, will be open in the evening exceptionally until 10:00 PM.
During the tour, you will be able to listen to an account of the most significant events of the siege.
