Palazzo Gambacorti continues the path of valorization and support to local artists with the solo exhibition by Tilio Orlando Piaggesi "Piaggesi, artista pisano".

The exhibition will be open, free of charge, until 31 July from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 19:00.

The artist:
Born in the '30s, Piaggesi lives in Pisa. Since childhood he has cultivated a passion for painting and sculpture, overcoming personal and physical difficulties to devote himself to his artistic vocation. His first appearance in the world of art dates back to 1992, But the decisive turning point came in 2000 with the Golden Lion as first prize "Figurative Art" in Venice. A recognition that marked the beginning of an exhibition activity and numerous awards, including San Marino (2001), Quadriennale di Roma (2002), Biennale di Venezia (2003) and Città di Firenze (2003).
