The Half Marathon, the international half marathon (21 km), returns on Sunday 12 October 2025, starting from 9.00 am.
This year the race has a completely new route, it will be held inside the San Rossore Natural Park: zero differences in altitude, very few curves and much faster!
At the same time, the Pisa Ten will also take place, the family run of the non-competitive Pisa Half Marathon (arrival point for the 10 km in front of the shooting gallery - number 160).
Also for the VII edition, the Pisa Ten will be dedicated to Dr. Barbara Capovani to condemn all forms of violence against women. The proceeds will be donated to charity to the Per Donare La Vita Onlus association.
Starting point for both races in Via delle Cascine, Via Montelungo crossroads, about 150 meters from the underpass.
The Start Village with luggage storage for all participants will be set up inside the ITIS in Via Contessa Matilde and will be accessible from 6.30 am.
For the whole of Saturday 11 October, however, at the foot of the Leaning Tower there will be the official expo of the competition for the collection of bibs, partner stands and many other new features, from 9 am to 6 pm.
Pisa Half Marathon and Mura di Pisa still together for the promotion of the tourist and cultural beauties of the city. On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October, with the marathon bib, those who run, together with their family members, will be able to access the Walls of Pisa for just 4.00€.
Pisa Half Marathon and national museums. On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October, with your marathon race number, you can visit national museums (Palazzo Reale, San Matteo, Navi Antiche and Certosa di Calci) for just €2.00.
Pisa Half Marathon and Piazza dei Miracoli. On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October, with your race number, you can enter the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo + Duomo for just €3,00.

TRAFFIC AND ROAD CONDITIONS CHANGES
On Sunday 12 October, race day, from 5 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., there will be progressive traffic restrictions on Viale delle Cascine, particularly on the sections between the Poggi roundabout, the Anna Frank roundabout and the entrance to the San Rossore estate. Transit will always be guaranteed for residents and operators of businesses along the avenue and side streets, compatibly with the safety requirements of the race. The Anna Frank roundabout may be temporarily closed to allow competitors to pass. Access to the San Rossore estate will remain closed to vehicles, except for residents and authorised vehicles, with entry and exit via Via delle Lenze. The Pisa Ten is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., while the Pisa Half Marathon will start at 9.15 a.m., both from Viale delle Cascine near the Torre Pendente campsite. The finish line will be on the same avenue, near the Tiro a Segno Nazionale.
