CSI arrives in Pisa on tour: on Saturday, October 3rd, the sports village will stop in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II
A totally free day of sports activities and games open to all citizens, with the participation of local Societies and Associations. The sports village reclaims the center of Pisa. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, the historic Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II will host the 'CSI on tour, Sport for everyone' event, under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa.
The 'CSI in tour' is among the largest and most important 'sport for all' initiatives held annually in Tuscany. The event involves several thousand active participants, offering the opportunity to experience a day of movement and social interaction. Organized by the Polisportiva CSI Pisa APS – ASD in collaboration with the Territorial Committee CSI Pisa APS, the day will offer an entirely free program aimed at promoting sport and healthy lifestyles. They will guide citizens to discover numerous disciplines: basketball, volleyball, football, running, dance, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics and many other new features.
The morning will be especially dedicated to the pupils of the city schools, while in the afternoon the village will become the meeting point for children, young people and families, with the aim of promoting well-being, inclusion and fair play through physical activity. The traveling event, now in its 11th edition and promoted by the Centro Sportivo Italiano Toscana, crosses the region in 40 stages and has as its special godmother former Italian national volleyball player Giulia Pisani, commentator for Rai Sport and founder and coach of Piso Volley Camp.
Starting this year, this citywide event will be named in memory of Giampiero Bandini, a longtime CSI leader.
The "CSI in Tour" is supported and sponsored by the Tuscany Region, with the patronage of ANCI, CONI, Sport e Salute, and ANSMES, with the support of main sponsor Esselunga. Together with the CSI, these organizations help spread initiatives throughout the region, firmly believing in sport as a powerful educational vehicle, capable of promoting inclusion, well-being, and healthy lifestyles. The event fully represents these values, bringing young people and families closer to sports and helping to build a culture of health and sharing.
