
GUIDED TOUR FROM THE PARLASCIO TO PIAZZA DEI MIRACOLI
Recently restored and opened to the public, the Bastione del Parlascio was built in several stages by Filippo Brunelleschi and Nanni Unghero. An important example of a modern Italian fortification, it recounts a specific historical period during which Florence sought to consolidate its conquest of the Alphatian city. To discover its interior and exterior spaces, its history and the thousand vicissitudes that the structure has gone through, from its use as an ice-house (diacciaia in Pisan dialect) to an air-raid shelter, on Saturday 19 and 26 April, a guided tour "A bastion to discover".
Departure at 5.00 p.m. from the Bastion, arrival in Piazza dei Miracoli passing along the high walkway.
