On Sunday, 8 March 2026, on the occasion of International Women's Day, Pisa's national museums will be open with free admission for all women.
National Museum of San Matteo: open 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (last admission at 1:00 p.m.).
National Museum of Palazzo Reale: closed.
Museum of Ancient Ships of Pisa: open 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (last admission at 6:30 p.m.).
Monumental Complex of the Certosa di Calci: open 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (last admission at 1:00 p.m.) - free admission to the courtyard of honour and the frescoed church. Full itinerary only with guided tour for a fee organised by Cooperativa Archeologia e Itinera at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
