Pisa will host the 32nd Club Z3Mendi National Meeting exclusively for BMW Z3 roadster and coupé cars. The spectacle of the cars of the famous German car manufacturer will stop in the shadow of the Leaning Tower, for an initiative under the banner of engines and solidarity. The rally organised by the Z3Mendi Club, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023, will take place on Friday 29, Saturday 30 and Sunday 1 October, in collaboration with Confcommercio Provincia di Pisa, Marina Militare, Opera della Primaziale Pisana and Base Elicotteri Maristaeli, with the patronage of Regione Toscana, Regione Liguria, Provincia di Pisa, Provincia della Spezia, Comune di Pisa and Comune di Sarzana.

The appointment for crews is Friday 29 September, starting at 3.00 p.m. at the Hotel Galilei in Pisa, for check-in and registration of participants. This will be followed, from 8 p.m., by dinner and a 1950s-themed evening.

The rally continues on Saturday 30 with the departure for Sarzana and a visit to the Italian Navy's Maristaeli Helicopter Base, with the possibility in the afternoon to visit the archaeological excavations of Luni and the wine cellars.

The grand finale will take place on Sunday 1 October, with the Z3s parading along the Lungarni and the arrival scheduled for 10 a.m. in Piazza dei Miracoli, where the Livorno Naval Academy Fanfare will perform.

During the event, funds will be raised for the Andrea Bocelli Foundation's project to build a nursery school and upgrade the primary school and gym in Macerata's Sforzacosta district.

A portable ultrasound scanner will also be handed over to the Pisa Group of Cisom - the Order of Malta's Italian Ambulance Corps - and medical equipment in favour of the Misericordia di Bientina.
