Sunday 7 May sees the renewal of the appointment with Sunday at the Museum, the Ministry of Culture's initiative that allows free admission, every first Sunday of the month, to state museums and archaeological parks.

The Museo Nazionale di San Matteo Pisa will be open free of charge from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (last admission 1 pm)

At 11:00 a.m., on the occasion of the Marian month, Prof. Marco Collareta, former professor of History of Medieval Art at the University of Pisa, in the exciting Hall of the Crosses, next to the painting depicting it, will talk about the Majesty of the Master of St. Martin, one of the pinnacles of 13th-century painting and one of the greatest examples of biography in images.

The Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Reale will be open free of charge from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (last admission 1:00 pm) with a free guided tour at 11:00.

The University of Pisa's university museums also welcome you on the first Sunday of the month with free admission:

- Botanical Garden and Museum, open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. www.ortomuseobot.sma.unipi.it;

- Egyptological Collections, open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m., www.egitto.sma.unipi.it;
