The Literary Atlases project, conceived and curated by Anselmo Roveda and illustrated by Marco Paci, tells the new generations and enthusiasts of all ages about environments and landscapes, real and imaginary, among the most beautiful and evocative in world literature.
With the original drawings and preparatory sketches, Giralangolo is mounting an exhibition that is both evocative and illuminating, adding further imaginative power to great literature.

The exhibition will be hosted in the wonderful setting of the Royal Victoria Hotel in Pisa, thanks to the collaboration of the Gli Anni in Tasca bookshop. The plates on display will take the spectator on a journey around the world: from monographs on Emilio Salgari and Jules Verne to imagined places and the most famous dwellings in classic novels.

The exhibition is designed for a wide audience of all ages: children and teenagers, but also connoisseurs of adventure novels, the simply curious, lively readers who cultivate a taste for fantasy; last but not least, art and illustration enthusiasts, who will find satisfaction for their desire for beauty in Marco Paci's pictorial skills.
Author and illustrator will hold workshops and meetings dedicated to the work of classical writers and illustration, involving both the public and schools in the area, in a project that will take the exhibition beyond the exhibition spaces.

Anselmo Roveda, writer and literature scholar, is editorial coordinator of the monthly magazine 'Andersen', director of the literary review 'Cabirda' and contract professor at the ISIA in Urbino. He has published non-fiction, fiction and poetry.

Marco Paci works in the field of visual communication, collaborates with the magazine "Città Meticcia", with the Teatrino dell'Es in Bologna, and since 2004 has been combining his work as an illustrator and set designer with his work as an actor. He holds workshops for children and adults on illustrated books, illustration and theatre. He has published with many major Italian and foreign children's publishers.
