On Thursday, June 15 at the Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa, starting at 9.30 pm, Carmina Burana will perform Carl Orff's solo concert, choir, white voices, pianos and percussion, organized by the Pisa Early Music cultural association with the patronage of Municipality of Pisa. Carmina Burana is a scenic chant composed by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936, and is based on 24 poems among those found in homonymous medieval texts, work by goliards and vagrant clerics. The full title is: "Carmina Burana: Cantiones profanee cantoribus et choris cantadaae, comitantibus instrumentis atque imaginibus magicis".

Before the Carmina Burana, at 21.15, the orchestra of the children of the 1st degree "L. Fibonacci" secondary school was invited to open the concert with the performance of a direct music program and arranged by the teachers Instrumental Elisa Azzarà (flute), Dario Atzori and Nicola Fenzi (guitar), Paola Coppola (violin) and Giulio Collavoli (piano).
