Saturday, November 17th returns the magic of street artists in the historic center of Pisa. From 4pm to 12am in Piazza Chiara Gambacorti a special edition of the Pisa Buskers - Festival of the Hanging Arts, in favor of the territories of Monte Serra hit by the disastrous fire of 25 and 26 September. A day of shows suitable for an audience of all ages in which there will be a fundraising for Monte Pisano, organized specifically almost two months after the disaster to keep in mind what was the extent of the fire and make understand that the work to be done is still long.

 

After the catastrophic fire that has devastated the territories of Calci and Vicopisano, ASD Pendent Arts and the university associations News, Beat and Imats have decided to organize a day of musical performances and contemporary circus pro Monte Pisano and give rise to a fundraising from to allocate to the affected areas; collection that will be carried out by the organizing associations with the help of some associations that live on Monte Pisano: Cai, Associazione Feronia, ST Monte Pisano and Team speed Point ASD.

 

The idea for this event was born after the end of the third edition of the Pisa Buskers - Festival of Pendants, which in the 32 shows of the two days saw an audience unexpectedly larger than the organizers had hypothesized and, in the light of the encouraging results, they decided to stimulate the city environment to make a concrete contribution to the areas hit by the fire. The initiative includes workshops and shows dedicated to children with clown performances, circus, fire shows and the performance of three musical groups, one in the aperitif time and the other two to close the event. All shows are obviously free. Pisa Buskers for Monte Pisano is sponsored by the Municipality of Pisa and by Confcommercio Province of Pisa.
