Immigration, emigration, globalisation, integration of foreigners, free movement of people and goods... All key words in contemporary vocabulary. True. Even if they were already topical 2000 years ago.
Through the observation of the customs and costumes of Roman times, thanks to the exhibits in the museum, we will discover and sketch the different populations that inhabited the territories of the Roman Empire, in order to understand how the integration of the numerous peoples within the Empire took place, so that we can consider Ancient Rome a model of integration in the modern sense of the term.

Workshop: 'My name is Fausto and I am a centaur' for children aged 5 to 12 years.

Starting from a canvas exhibited in the rooms of the Palazzo Blu Permanent Collection, participants will be guided in the creation of an oral story with Fausto as the protagonist, touching on concepts such as diversity, comparison and knowledge. They will then figuratively realise the ending of the story using mixed techniques.
Natural History Museum:
On the occasion of FaMu, the National Day of Families at the Museum, on Sunday 9 October 2022 the Museum offers a family game that stimulates the observation of the beauty of biodiversity through the extraordinary specimens of animals exhibited in the various rooms of the Museum.
Participants will find clues that will take them on a journey through the Museum's most spectacular rooms. Questions and games will focus on the similarities and differences between the various species, stimulating reflection on diversity and highlighting their function and beauty.
Information:
It will be possible to participate in the activities from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (game duration approx. 1 hour).
Participation is open to all and is recommended for families with children aged 5-12 years.

Museum of Graphics:
On Sunday 9 October 2022 at 4 p.m., the Museum offers 'Among the green golf meadows', a family activity.
Recommended age: 6-11 years
Golf is a sport with ancient rules; one of the most important is respect for opponents.
Let's discover together the prints, drawings and posters on display in the exhibition Golf is Art. Images and stories of sport and let's have fun making an original board game inspired by this sport.
