"Marenia NonSoloMare 2026", the program of events promoted by the Municipality of Pisa in collaboration with Pisamo, returns. The event will enliven the summer months with a rich program ranging from culture to entertainment, from music to entertainment, with events designed for the whole family, taking place in the most evocative locations along the coast, from Marina di Pisa to Calambrone.

The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Pisa, Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Pisamo, with the co-participation of the Camera di Commercio and the involvement of Confcommercio Pisa, Confesercenti Pisa, Proloco Litorale Pisano, Teatrino del Sole, and Eliopoli.

 

  • The meetings with the Authors. The festival will be held in the space of the Ciclilandia Park in Tirrenia, recently named after Ciro Plebe, and will be dedicated to books and culture. Paolo Gulisano will take turns on stage with The Literature of Joy: Tolkien, Lewis and Guareschi (8 July), Claudio Velardi with We were registered with the PCI (9 July), Marcello Veneziani with Nietzsche and Marx were giving each other their hand (16 July), Gian Andrea Cerone with The Uncertainty of Tomorrow (18 July), Chiara Tarantino with Four Heads from the Corneto Museum (22 July), Stefano Fava with The Attic of Words (July 23), Giancarlo Cesana with And What Am I? Between Psychology and Education (July 24) and Erica Cassano with Duramadre (July 25). The meetings, free of charge and starting at 9:15 pm, will be accompanied by discussions with journalists, writers, and cultural professionals, offering the public opportunities for discussion and in-depth analysis with the authors.
  • The open-air cinema. Also in Ciro Plebe Park, doubling the programming compared to previous editions, the long-awaited outdoor cinema events, created in collaboration with the Cinema Arsenale, return. A rich schedule of screenings will liven up the summer evenings: Sunday will be dedicated to children and families with a selection of animated and adventure films, while Monday will be reserved for the great cinema classics. On the tenth anniversary of Carlo Pedersoli's passing, the Pisan coast will also pay homage to Bud Spencer with two special evenings: Bomber will be screened on July 5th and Lo chiamavano Bulldozer on July 6th.

Children's Sundays will feature How to Train Your Dragon (July 12), Sonic 3 (July 19), Up (July 26), Frozen 2 (August 2), Ice Age (August 16), and Sword in the Stone (August 23). Classics Mondays will instead feature Heads or Tails (July 13), Summer Frenzy (July 20), Pilgrims of Love (July 27), The Big Lebowski (August 3), Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (August 17) and Taste of the Sea (August 24).

  • The concerts and live music. Marenia's calendar will also be enriched, thanks to the collaboration with LEG, by the large free concerts scheduled in the squares of Tirrenia and Marina di Pisa. Serena Brancale will take the stage on August 5th and Alex Britti on August 11th in Tirrenia, in Piazza dei Fiori; Gaia on August 18th and Le Bambole di Pezza on August 20th in Marina di Pisa, in Piazza Viviani.

Also scheduled for August 6th in Tirrenia is a concert by the Animeniacs group, a music company specializing in Disney repertoire and family entertainment. This is the only paid event, as part of the proceeds will be donated to the IRCCS Stella Maris Foundation for the construction of the new hospital. The medical director of the Calambrone office, Dr. Giuseppe Paladino, was also present and spoke.

Events in Calambrone. Completing the coastal summer program will also be the rich calendar of "Eliopoli Summer" events, which, like every year, will enliven Calambrone with live music, meetings, shows, and talk shows throughout the summer. Among the main guests: Iva Zanicchi who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, Drusilla Foer, Omar Pedrini, Alba Parietti, Grazia Di Michele, Katia Breni and Benedetta Giuntini, Gianluca Bonetta, Marco Martinelli, Valeria Iaquinto, Freakybea.

Teatrino del Sole. These are the events for the Teatrino del Sole program scheduled in Marina di Pisa (Garden of the Viviani Schools - Via Arnino, 4): on July 3rd there will be the Micro Teatro Terra Marique company from Perugia, with the show II mistero del bosco, for puppets and actors; on July 10th the Pupi di Stac will arrive from Florence with the show Pierino e il Lupo, for puppets and actor, based on Sergei Prokofiev's famous children's opera. On July 17th, Felice and Celina da Pisa's company will perform "I Racconti del Signore delle ciliege" for storytellers and puppets; on July 24th, the Accettella Teatro company will arrive from Rome with a show of figures, shadows, and actors entitled "A capofitto." The shows continue on July 31st with the Guardiani dell'Oca da Chieti company, featuring a classic children's novel The Three Little Pigs with puppets and an actor. On August 7th, there will be the show Pinocchio, a beautiful production by the Kirby Teatro da Vercelli company for puppets and an actor. The festival closes on August 14th with Azzurra Balena, a workhorse of Habanera Teatro di Pisa, with puppets and clowns.

Marina di Pisa will also host free creative workshops for Coop members, held every Friday from July 3rd to August 7th, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. On Friday, July 3rd, animated readings will be performed with BiblioCoop and Habanera; on July 10th, a cardboard heron puppet will be built. On Friday, July 17th, the little ones will try their hand at building cardboard characters, on July 24th and 31st (laboratory duration 2 days) they will try their hand at building a foam fish that moves its mouth. The event will close on August 7th and begin at 9:30 a.m. for a game-excursion on the dunes of Tirrenia led by Letizia Andreini and Patrizia Ascione in collaboration with WWF Alta Toscana.
