For all fans of the world of food and wine, 'Banchi di Gusto' is back, the event organised by the Toscana Sapori Consortium and the CNA in cooperation with the Municipality of Pisa, Terre di Pisa, Food & Wine Toscana Sapori and the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce.

Maitre chocolatier, chefs and guests of national and international calibre, as well as professors and experts, will take turns between interviews, show cooking and round tables.

The by now traditional appointment takes place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Pisa under the Logge di Banchi in the city centre.


Saturday 27 April

  • 11 a.m. opening and ribbon cutting with the authorities
  • from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  selling products and tastings
  • 3.30 - 4.30 p.m. Round Table: circular economy and enhancement of food resources. Speakers: Marco Morelli (owner and commercial director Liquori Morelli: Antica Grapperia Toscana), Mirco Della Vecchia (Master chocolatier and pastry chef of international fame), Alesiso Cavicchi ( full professor of Agribusiness and Rural Development at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Agri-Environmental Sciences of the University of Pisa and delegated by the Rector for the promotion of entrepreneurial culture and innovation). Moderates and coordinates the gornalista Francesca Franceschi.
  • 5 - 6 p.m. "STOP TO WASTE: THE NEW LIFE OF FOOD WASTE" by Mirco Della Vecchia and Luca D'Auria of Pizzeria Fratelli D'Auria.  From scraps to real tasty resources. It’s the new life of food waste that, in a sustainable, anti-spect philosophy, can generate delicacies for the palate. A particular focus will be dedicated to the reuse of Easter eggs and many other foods.
  • 6.05 - 7 p.m. Show Cooking Mirco Della Vecchia – A passion called chocolate. Moderates and coordinates the journalist Paolo Del Ry.

Sunday 28 April 

  • from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  selling products and tastings
  • 3.30 - 4.15 p.m. directly from masterchef, the winner of the 13th edition, Eleonora Riso for the presentation of the book "Laboratorio di sapori" - Baldini + Castoldi Editore. Interview by the newspaper Francesca Franceschi. Following show cooking "Sustainability...on everyone’s lips!"
  • 5 - 6 p.m. intervention of Tatiana Porciani, owner of Erbaluigia - Osteria Contemporanea
  • 6 - 7 p.m. Simone Acquarelli, chef patron saqua by Il Frantoio. Moderates and coordinates the journalist Paolo Del Ry.
