PEREGRINATIO MARIÆ: the passage of "Madonna di Sotto gli Organi in Bientina, in felloship with "Madonna col Bambino", P. Fancelli's wooden sculpture.

Calamo Associazione Culturale in collaboration with the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Bientina and with mister Stalin Poli, art expert, and with the patronage of Bientina Town and Pisa Diosese, organizes an exhibition about the PEREGRINATIO MARIÆ; the passage of "Madonna di Sotto gli Organi" in Bientina, in felloship with "Madonna col Bambino".

Exhibition has the aim to reflect about the Marian devoutness of our territory from the Middle Ages to nowadays, because of a study aboutthe wooden techniques that include centuries of art and handicfafts. There will be works of sculpture of famous artists of Pisa, Lungomonte and Valdarno, full-relief sculptures, bas- reliefs, xylographies and other pieces selected to the private devoutness.

Introduction of exhibition Saturday 27JAN2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the ground floor of Torre Civica.

Exhibition begins after its introduction at the second floor until 7:00(?)p.m.
