EVENT SUNDAY 26 DECEMBER 2021 - CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER
The night-time film tours organised by Acquario della Memoria and the CoopCulture, Itinera and Promocultura cooperatives are back for the Christmas period. A new and original story through projections and immersive audio to relive the history of the city from Roman times to medieval glories, from the industrial revolution to the present day. From the events that made Pisa a naval power feared throughout the Mediterranean to the ingenious workings of the Roman baths, from the story of Laura Ruschi and the San Zeno artistic ceramics factory to the Marzotto industrial epic that began during Fascism and continued with the social village after World War II until the riots in 1968.
The first event is on Saturday 11 December, with repeat performances on Saturday 18 December, Sunday 26 December for Boxing Day, Saturday 1 January for New Year's Day and Saturday 8 January.
