The exhibition 'Pur bella la vita. Musiche nei luoghi storici di Pisa" recalls the quotation "Pur bella la vita, merita di rischiare: bisogna di rischiare ogni tanto per sentir quanto vale" painted in the Chiostro di San Girolamo and that for over thirty years has accompanied the academic life of the Scuola Superiore "Sant'Anna" inviting students to take up the taste for new challenges.
Twelve events with free admission, from April to December, this year also hosted outside the School's premises in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, such as the Museum of Palazzo Reale, the Domus Mazziniana, the "Stefano Strata" Music Academy, the Churches of San Sisto, Santa Maria del Carmine, S. Michele degli Scalzi
After the summer break, the programme will resume on 25 September, at 5 p.m. at the Church of San Sisto, Piazza Buonamici 1, with the multi-instrumental ensemble Terra Mater with "Il mare che canta" (The Singing Sea), a tale, woven by the expert lips of music, on the charm and fascination of the musical traditions of the Mediterranean region.
On 9 October, in the Aula Magna of the Scuola Sant'Anna, at 5 p.m., the conference "Sound Suggestions of the Sea World. Sea Soundscapes of Sicily" in the presence of Salvatore Spataro, last Rais of the Bonagia tuna fishery (Trapani)
