Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September see the return of the GEP - European Heritage Days, Europe's largest and most popular cultural event.

During the two days guided tours, special initiatives and extraordinary openings will be organised in Italian museums and cultural sites on the theme: 'Sustainable Cultural Heritage: A Legacy for the Future'.

In addition, on Saturday there will be special evening openings in state museums with admission at the symbolic cost of € 1.00 (excluding statutory free admission).

The calendar of events will be updated from September on the Ministry of Culture website, in two separate sections, respectively dedicated to the initiatives planned for Saturday and Sunday and the extraordinary Saturday evening openings.
