The Museo della Grafica (Municipality of Pisa, University of Pisa) and the Teatro Verdi of Pisa organise a celebratory event, one hundred years after the publication of Erik Satie's score.

Through music, images and words, Cristian Carrara (artistic director of the Fondazione Teatro di Pisa), Giovanni Federico Gronchi (pro-rector for cooperation and international relations of the University of Pisa) and Alessandro Tosi (director of the Museo della Grafica di Pisa) will make the public rediscover the delightful suite published in 1923 by Lucien Vogel in Paris, with Erik Satie's short piano compositions accompanied by Charles Martin's refined drawings.

The pieces will be performed on the piano by Giovanni Federico Gronchi.

The event is linked to the exhibition Fashion, Sport, Tourism set up at the Museo della Grafica in Palazzo Lanfranchi and open until 29 October 2023.
