For the Christmas holidays, Pisa's museums will be open!
The National Museum of the Royal Palace will be open, with opening hours of 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (last admission at 1 p.m.), on the following days:
- Friday 8 December
- Sunday 10 December
- Sunday 24 December
- Tuesday, 26 December
- Sunday 31 December, free guided tour at 11 a.m. by museum staff
- Tuesday, 2 January
CLOSED: 25 December, 1 and 3 January
Admission: 6,00 € full | 3,00 € reduced | 9,00 € cumulative with the Museo di San Matteo.
The National Museum of San Matteo will be open from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on the following days:
- Sunday 24 December
- Tuesday, 26 December
- Sunday 31 December, at 11 a.m. there will be a free guided tour by the museum staff;
- Monday 1 January, special opening hours 3-7 p.m. (last entrance at 6.30 p.m.), at 5 p.m. there will be a free guided tour by the museum staff;
CLOSED: 25 and 27 December, 3 January
The Museum of Ancient Ships will be open on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fridays-Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The "All aboard, let's set sail together" event continues, under the guidance of Cooperativa Archeologia, with workshops and insights into the customs and traditions of ancient civilisations. Next appointments:

The Palazzo Blu will be open every day from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be possible to visit the following exhibitions:
- "The Avant-garde. Masterpieces from the Philadelphia Museum of Art" (28 September-7 April);
- "Festival della Strada" (27 October-7 January)
- "Late twentieth century. Pisa and the changing world" (7 December-31 March)
Even the museums of the University Museum System will be open offering a rich program of activities that will accompany children and adults for all the Christmas holidays to discover the historical, artistic, naturalistic and scientific heritage and this year make you a gift: the loyalty coupon!
At the time of payment, each family enrolled in the scheduled activity, will be given a coupon consisting of 10 boxes, corresponding to 10 paid activities dedicated to children and families that will be proposed during Christmas 2023 and throughout 2024.
For each activity in which the family will participate, many boxes will be stamped as many children will be enrolled. Obtained six stamps you will be entitled to a free ticket for a child; after three more stamps will be given to the family the teaching guide of the museum where the tenth activity will take place.

COLLEZIONI EGITTOLOGICHE "EDDA BRESCIANI"
Open Monday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., from Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 3-6 p.m. The days 24 and 31 December the closure is anticipated at 1 p.m. The museum will be closed on 8-25-26 December, 1 and 6 January.

MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY IN CALCI
The Museum is open all year round, with the exception of 25 December. On 1 January the Museum opens at 3 p.m.
On 24th and 31st December the Museum closes at 7 p.m.
Winter hours (1 October - 31 May):
Monday to Saturday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sundays and public holidays: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
The Museum, in cooperation with Feronia Environmental Guides, organises a series of guided tours over the festive period.
The tour includes visits to the Historical Gallery, Mammal Gallery, Human Evolution Room and Cetacean Gallery.
