From June 19 to 21, 2026, a mini literary festival will take place in the garden of the chapel of Sant'Agata, featuring book presentations, in the presence of authors and other characters. It is called AGATA BOOK FESTIVAL the new cultural event that finds hospitality in the garden of the small and graceful monument restored four years ago by the Municipality of Pisa (owner) and the Pisa Foundation. They are led by the presidents of the two organizing associations, Riccardo Buscemi of the Il Mosaico Cultural Association, and Francesca Pepi of the Carlo Pepi House Museum Association.
The festival, in addition to introducing and experiencing this peaceful corner of the city nestled in its historic center, aims to raise awareness of some books, primarily by local authors, published recently. On the occasion of their presentations it will also be possible to purchase them.
