On 20 and 21 June, in the atrium of Palazzo Gambacorti, will be held the photographic exhibition "Material Alphabets", dedicated to the path of continuous training carried out by educators of the municipal nests with indirect management of the Municipality of Pisa, managed by the social cooperative Aldia.
The project involved four communal nests: Albero Verde, Snoopy, San Biagio and Isola delle Farfalle, and is part of the educational program "Thoughts that support education", developed through research-action activities aimed at all educational staff.
The exhibition gathers a selection of significant images taken from the moments of setting up, observation and interaction with deconstructed materials, true protagonists of the educational project, and aims to document the experience of in-service training as an opportunity for professional growth and pedagogical reflection.
The approach adopted in the municipal nests of Pisa is inspired by the principles of constructivist pedagogy, valuing the child as an active subject able to build knowledge through interaction with the environment and personal narration of lived experiences.
