The Ludoteca Scientifica and the cultural association Nuova Limonaia organize a cycle of meetings of a divulgative-scientific nature. In May and June, the recently restored spaces of the Galilean Citadel will host every Thursday night - beginning at 9 pm - conferences, astronomical observations, round tables, screenings of films and documentaries. Presenting the theme of each evening will be teachers and experts in the scientific world that work mostly on our territory. Participation in the meetings is free admission and open to all citizenship.

The initiative has been organized to provide the public with a space for deepening and reflection on scientific topics that cross our daily lives. Through the vision and commentary of films and documentaries are proposed topics such as memory and its functioning, autism spectrum disorders, the dangers of a devoted scientific communication, and geological hazards. The sky over the Galilean Citadel is instead the protagonist of the two evenings dedicated to astronomical observations. Thanks to the telescopes located in the surrounding open spaces it is possible to observe the moon, stars and celestial bodies of the solar system. A round table and the presentation of the photographic exhibition on solar clocks are instead devoted to reflecting on the concept of Time, understood both as a measure and as a perception.
