The traditional 'Concerto degli Auguri' organised by the Filarmonica Pisana is back!
This year the Orchestra dei Fiati, conducted by Maestro Paolo Carosi, will offer a unique show themed "Music Imagines the Future", an exciting journey through the iconic soundtracks of films and TV series that have marked the history of science fiction and kept millions of people glued to the big or small screen. Distant galaxies, good or bad aliens, journeys through space and time, where no man has ever gone before. A rush of emotions that only the magic of music can evoke!
Appointment on Thursday 7 December at 9:15 pm at the Stazione Leopolda. Admission free while places last.
The evening will feature costumed performances by the EMPisa Star Wars Fan Club. Special guest of this edition will be soprano Ilaria Casai, who will perform a song from the recent episode of the last season of Star Trek.
As in previous years, it will be possible to buy chocolate hearts to support the Telethon Foundation and research into rare genetic diseases.
