Nowaday all researchers agree on the Etruscan origin of Pisa, even if only few archaeological evidences have remained.  Among these the most remarkable is for sure the burial of the Etruscan Prince (il Tumulo del Principe etrusco),  an important funerary monumental complex dated back to the 7th century b.C.
