Is it true that we ate better before? In reality, today the products are better because there is more awareness in their care.
The Association I Cavalieri has organized an afternoon meeting for Saturday 27 September 2025 from 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm between catering experts and citizens to promote and enhance the value of good Italian cuisine.
The event will be held at the Boccadarno Country Club in Via Scoglio della Meloria 55, the welcoming location on the Pisan coast on the outskirts of Marina di Pisa immersed in the greenery of the San Rossore park, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, Confcommercio Province of Pisa, Proloco Litorale Pisano, Consorzio Vini Terre di Pisa, Associazione Cuochi Pisani and the collaboration of Radio Il Falco CB and other local economic associations and entities.

During the event we will be able to discover the possibilities that every citizen has to enjoy good food thanks to qualified experts in each sector who will address the following topics:

  • the restaurant and updating traditional recipes through professionals
  • the home cook for home conviviality but with the culinary skills of an expert
  • catering that allows you to consume food even in places not intended for catering
  • foodvloggers and foodbloggers with thousands of views on social media. Food and wine tourism
  • schools to become aware professionals or enthusiasts. Prepare for a profession.
  • nutritional education to best face a healthy and peaceful life
  • accompany food with local wines to enhance Pisan food and wine excellence
  • at the table with organic products, advice on the sustainable cultivation of vegetable gardens

A socio-cultural afternoon aimed at conviviality created through food, music and wine. The talk show will be hosted and moderated by the young Marco Martinelli (scientific communicator and researcher at the Scuola Superiore S.Anna), who combines a passion for science with that for music and entertainment; we are certain that he will be able to involve those present in the various discussions or find new ideas and curiosities to learn about. Not only words but also live musical entertainment with the Onda Acustica trio (Giulio D'Agnello-vocals and guitar, Mauro Redini-mandolino and Alessandro Sodini-accordion) for a journey into popular author music.

Absolutely not to be missed are the "showcooking" directed by the Associazione Cuochi Pisani and the "taste workshops" aimed at children aged 4 to 11 (by reservation only).

Public participation will be free to enter while available seats last, which is why reservations are welcome. Everything will be facilitated by the projection of images (videos and photos) on a video-maxi-screen. Part of the proceeds will be donated to a local voluntary organisation.
