On Thursday, June 4th at 6:30 pm at the Sant'Agata Chapel, "Waiting for the Stabat Mater" will be held in collaboration with the Municipality of Pisa.

A poetic encounter between sacred music and contemporary dance comes to life in Giovan Battista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. The poignant score, imbued with pain and beauty, becomes fertile ground for a scenic reinterpretation in which the choreography gives body and movement to the emotions of the two Marys (the Mother of Christ and the Magdalene), in assonance with the many mothers who mourn their children in the wars of our day. An intense and multisensory experience where sound and gesture merge into a single expressive flow.
