THE ARTIST.
Ivano Montagnani was born in Pisa. He attended the Art Institute of Cascina, obtaining the Diploma of Master of Art. He then attended the Art Institute in Florence, obtaining a Diploma from the Master of Art course for the Furniture section. His prevailing and constant interest in drawing, and later in painting, led him to receive a solid foundation from which to start what was to become an art and a profession. Ivano was an artist who, with his works, tiptoed into the sensitivity of his interlocutor and invited him to reflect on the great issues of contemporary society.
