Fridays will be synonymous with fun and music under the stars in Tirrenia’s Piazza Belvedere, which will be closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian zone for ‘Venerdì a Tirrenia’, the new summer event organised by Confcommercio Pisa with the patronage and support of Municipality of Pisa, funding from Sib – the Italian Beach Resort Union – and in collaboration with Also Eventi.
For four Fridays – 24 and 31 July, and 7 and 14 August – from 5.00 pm until midnight, Piazza Belvedere on the Via dei Fiori side will be closed to traffic and transformed into an open-air stage where music, performances and entertainment will transform the heart of Tirrenia into a place for socialising and leisure, with the aim of promoting the Pisa coastline and offering new opportunities for socialising and entertainment during the summer season to the many visitors, tourists and families who will be spending their holidays and summer evenings in Tirrenia.
All the events will take place in Piazza Belvedere, which has always been the nerve centre and focal point of Tirrenia; this year it will be even livelier and more appealing thanks to the four evenings kicking off on Friday 24 July with a concert by Thomas Grazioso, a singer, actor and dancer who was a finalist on the talent shows “The Voice” and “X-Factor”, a star of “Amici di Maria De Filippi” and numerous TV programmes on Rai and Mediaset channels, with over 1,000 concerts performed around the world. An extraordinary voice for an evening of music and great excitement.
On Friday 31 July and Friday 7 August, fun is guaranteed with the quiz game “La Piramide”: the famous quiz show that puts everyone to the test with thrilling challenges in a format where teams must answer questions, combining knowledge and speed to climb the virtual pyramid and secure victory.
The grand finale on the eve of Ferragosto, Friday 14 August, features music by DJ Pablo and the spectacular ‘Starlights’ show: a DJ set that sets the night alight, accompanied by breathtaking acrobatic aerial dance performances. A high-impact spectacle where music and movement come together to create an exciting and immersive atmosphere.
