The celebrations of the Republic Day will take place in Pisa on Monday 2 June.

At 10 a.m., in Piazza Duomo, will take place the institutional ceremony with the deployment of the interforces picket and the ceremony of the flag raising. The performance of the National Anthem, the message of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the intervention of the Prefect of Pisa, Maria Luisa D'Alessandro will follow.

During the ceremony will be presented the Honours. The European Anthem will conclude the official moment.

CHANGES TO TRAFFIC AND PARKING. In order to allow the celebration of 2 June, some temporary changes to the road and parking are planned from 30 May until the end of the events. The measures will mainly affect the area of Piazza Duomo, via Cardinale Maffi, Piazza Arcivescovado and Piazza Mazzini. 

DAY 30 MAY, FROM 15:00 TO 19:00 AND THE DAY 31 MAY FROM 8:00 TO 12:00: - PIAZZA DUOMO, stretch between entrance Infopoint and Museum of Sinopie:  Establishment of road restriction and prohibition of pedestrian transit in the area affected by the assembly operations of the Tricolor by the Fire Department; 

DAY 31 MAY, FROM 07:00 AM TO 12:00 PM: - PIAZZA DUOMO, stretch between the entrance Infopoint and Museum of Sinopie: suspension of the pedestrian area for vehicles commissioned by Pisamo Srl to the positioning of concrete fixing tools, To be placed in such a way as not to hinder and create danger;  

DAY 1 JUNE AND DAY 2 JUNE, from 17:00 to 19:00: - PIAZZA DUOMO, stretch between the entrance Infopoint and Museum of Sinopie: Suspension of the pedestrian area for vehicles of the Italian Red Cross only for the assembly and dismantling of gazebos used for the event;

VIA CARDINALE MAFFI, taken from the entrance to the monumental area at Largo del Parlascio, right side compared to the direction of travel, or south side: Establishment of the ban on parking with forced removal, except vehicles of civil and military authorities following the ceremony;  
PIAZZA ARCIVESCOVADO: Establishment of the ban on parking with forced removal, except vehicles civil and military authorities to follow the celebrations and except the rescue means provided for in the emergency plan of the event; 

TEMPORARY MEASURES OF VIABILITY ON 2 JUNE FROM 7:00 AM TO 13:00 PM AND AT LEAST UNTIL THE END OF THE EVENT

• PIAZZA DUOMO, stretch between via Roma and Museo Sinopie (in correspondence with the path to the Baptistery): Prohibition of pedestrian and vehicular traffic;
• The passage of pedestrians will be directed to the monumental area;
• The access to the Museum of the Sinopie will be guaranteed from the side of the walkway towards the Baptistery..
