The celebrations of the “Die di Santo Sisto”, in memory of the Pisan pope and martyr, will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 6 August, organized by the association of the Friends of Pisa, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa and the Tuscany Region.
PROGRAMME:
6.00 pm exterior of the Church of San Sisto in Corte Vecchia. Deposition of a laurel wreath near the plaque commemorating all the events of August 6th over the centuries
6.15 pm Holy Mass officiated by Don Salvatore Glorioso in memory of the Pisan Fallen of all wars. Grape blessing.
7.00 pm Report from the President on the activities carried out, awarding of the qualification of Honorary Members to the 46° Air Brigade and Profs. Luca Morelli and Ugo Boggi.
Historical conference by Dr. Michele Bufalino: "Pisa Sporting Club. story of a rebirth".
8.30 pm Convivial meeting of members and supporters at the Osteria in Domo. Reservation required.
