Si rinnova l’appuntamento con il Memorial Saverio Masi, che quest’anno giunge alla sua 19° edizione. La manifestazione, che unisce la beneficenza alla commemorazione per il pompiere morto nel 2006 in un incidente sul lavoro, è organizzata dal comitato Saverio Masi, dal Comando Provinciale dei Vigili del Fuoco di Pisa e dal suo gruppo sportivo di canottaggio Billi-Masi insieme a UISP Pisa e consisterà in una camminata non competitiva, inclusiva e aperta a tutti. Il ricavato sarà devoluto all'Associazione Italiana Persone Down di Pisa.
The Saverio Masi Memorial is back for its 19th edition this year. The event, which combines charity with the commemoration of the firefighter who died in 2006 in an accident at work, is organised by the Saverio Masi Committee, the Provincial Fire Brigade Command of Pisa and its Billi-Masi rowing sports group together with UISP Pisa. It will consist of a non-competitive walk, inclusive and open to all. The proceeds will be donated to the Italian Down Syndrome Association of Pisa.
This year, the route has been extended to make it even more interesting: the usual walk along the walls of Pisa (with a photographic exhibition depicting the rescue activities of the Pisa Fire Brigade), crossing the Cittadella Galileiana with outdoor stations for scientific demonstrations and experiments, and ending at the National Museum of Ancient Ships.
The event will take place on Sunday 23rd November at 9:30 am at the headquarters of the Provincial Fire Brigade Command in Pisa. Departure in staggered groups.

- on November 22th, from 10 am to 7 pm at the Fire Brigade stands (in Borgo Stretto - in front of the Borbonese shop and inside the Pisanova Shopping Centre);
- on the day of the event from 8 am to 9 pm
The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Pisa and is in collaboration with Mura di Pisa, Musei Nazionali di Pisa, Museo degli Strumenti per il Calcolo-Ludoteca Scientifica.
