Saturday 6 January sees the return of the traditional appointment with the 'Tuffo di Befana' in Marina di Pisa.

The meeting for all participants is in Piazza Sardegna at 11.00 a.m. for registration, which will be followed, at 11.45 a.m., by the arrival of the Avis Befana with sweets for the children, and at 12.00 noon the first bath of the year. The initiative, now in its sixteenth edition, is promoted by Avis Pisa and Amici del Mare di Livorno, sponsored and supported with the contribution of the Municipality of Pisa. Participation in the plunge is free and open to all.

For the plunge, a protected environment will be made available in which to change independently (but without the possibility of leaving clothes, given the restricted spaces and the large number of participants).

After the plunge, there will be awards for the largest group, the youngest and oldest divers.
